Elastoic degeneration of conjunctiva secondary to ultraviolet light exposure (sun). Symptoms include irritation, redness, dryness, blurred vision and scarring. This lesion can also limit contact lens wear. Treatment: protection from UV light (sunglasses), artificial tears and sometimes surgical removal.
